This is a web application and content management system that provides services related to movies to users online. All the information regarding theaters in a given location or city is collected and organized area-wise. The site gives periodic updates and reviews of the movies running in specific theaters area-wise, timings for each show etc.

The user gets advance information on upcoming movies, New Releases, date of release and theater where the movie will show. In addition, he has the unique option to set reminders for events that he is interested in, for example the date of release of a movie featuring his favorite star. He will then receive a reminder by email or SMS alerting him to the date, time and theater playing the new movie.

Other events that the scope of the project extends to are: audio releases, celebrity birthdays, movie launch celebrations, and many more.

All the information on the subject of the movie field will be covered in the scope of this project.

2. Cinegoer Content Management

This is a Windows based tool developed to generate a website dynamically by building HTML pages. Main modules involved in this project are:

• User data maintenance
• Generation of HTML Web Pages as per the data entered for Cinegoer

This Windows application includes additional features like web feeds from Taxonomy, Digg & Delicious and dynamic short cut links using JavaScript for recent top ten movie updates. The theme of the site can be changed as and when required.

Here the user keys in all the data about the various features in his site. All the data is maintained in a database and then built as web pages – data is compiled, assembled and linked at high speed. The website is generated using a choice of two build styles:

1. Differential Build
   This option allows for on-demand compilation and publishing of data. Just the pages to be modified are re-built from the last build date and the rest of the pages remain the same. Links are updated to all the pages and there will be no old code running. This allows the user to update the website with the most current data entered in the database, without rebuilding the entire site.
   
   
2. Full Build
   The whole site is rebuilt and all the pages, both modified and unmodified, are generated with the updates. This is mainly useful when the look of the whole site is to be changed. The user is provided with a folder resembling the production server folder structure. This can be directly uploaded to the site.

3. Saaraansh

Saaraansh is a web-based tool which provides a mini ERP functionality for online business tracking. Every organization registered in the network is provided with a personalilzed URL. Users or customers can place orders and end users can also track and update the status of the orders. It is a role-based application which empowers end users to add products, customers and orders to their organizations. The orders placed can be tracked by customers at their personalized URL.

Saaraansh has an efficient security module which enables multiple levels of security. Admin users can assign different page and event permissions to people in the customer’s organization.

This application is integrated with Web Services for database operations. The sophisticated architecture of Web Services enables web application development using Data Contracts and Message Contracts. The end users can register for individual web services, and develop their own user interface using these web services.

AweSumation is the affordable on demand enterprise solution that allows small to mid market institutions to manage their human capital, customer relationships and projects online.

For Awesumation we have developed three applications and user interfaces that share the same database

• AweSumation Web Application (client to specify - what does it do?)

• Mobile Application

CRM Web Application is for managing leads, clients and uploading client contacts from external sources like Outlook, Excel and CSV Files. With the CRM application the user can track the sales cycle including all his customer notes in one location and integrate preferred clients into his Outlook contact file on demand. This information can be shared with other authorized users online.

Mobile Application This application is in sync with all mobile browsers and PDAs. From the user’s wireless web-enabled device he can add, view, edit, and update leads and client contacts. He can even send mails or SMS to a particular contact from this application.

Status Meeting simulates workplace communication within the organization even when users are in remote locations. It enables tracking of the business process online or within a group. A role and permission based application, Status Meeting helps end users (organization/teams) to update/view the status of the process plan or assigned tasks. It supports multiple developers, multiple organizations, teams and products.

A very user-friendly system with a simple interface, Status Meeting does not require any learning or training to work with the system. It’s an ideal solution when users want to manage the team online from anywhere.

User and Admin Web applications provide the user interface to add new products, generate reports, create new roles and teams based on user permissions.

The Windows User Module allows the individual user to view the tasks he was involved in while on the project and update the status of the tasks. Task history can also be viewed based on the user’s role. The Windows Admin module allows admin users to create new tasks for the product and all the tasks for the product are listed in a hierarchical order.

6. Masterek

MASTEREK is a web based application, which describes the activities that are carried out in the organization. This site can be viewed in different languages. Notifications are given to Members and Non-members of the site, which are displayed in pop-ups.

(Prayer files are played at fixed timings by blocking the site. ? Client to explain this) Publications printed by the organization are displayed and can be purchased through a payment gateway. A Photo Gallery displays archived and recent photographs.

Registered members can login to the site after super admin approval. The Calendar of Events displays forthcoming and occasional events. Both Members and Non-members can view the news (in different languages) provided in the site.

7. WISPRR Group

Wisconsin Professional Recruiters Resource aims to provide mechanisms to control recruitment costs, through networking. WISPRR offers opportunities to share progressive ideas and resources with other recruiting professionals.

To invite the participation of Members, a group site was developed with a payment gateway and mailing system. Information about registered members can be viewed based on access levels set at the time of registration. The Calendar of Events displays the forthcoming events for which a member or non- member can sign up. Members can post a reply in the Forums section under selected categories. Both Members and Nonmembers can view the news and links provided on the site.

8. TruCode LLC (WB Saunders)

Trucode medical dictionary is an application which provides a quick and easy reference of medical terms with their meanings, and sub-words if any. A search option provides a simple solution to check the meanings of reference words. The tool provides a formatting option. The user is also given an image of the word for a clearer description.

9. HIS Virtual Admin

HIS Virtual Admin is a web based application tool that was developed for monitoring remote web servers in the network. This application registers all the web services of a selected server, displays the performance counters of the servers i.e. % CPU usage and % Free Memory.

Web Services architecture is used in HIS Virtual Admin to enable remote access of the properties and methods of classes across a network. To retrieve the details of the server a generic web service has been developed that returns the server resources (i.e. % Free Memory and % CPU Usage).

10. Bakthivedanta Institute

Bakthivedanta Institute is a non profit organization dedicated to the study of service and spirituality. The capabilities of the existing website www.binstitute.org have been extended by introducing a web based membership system which comes in several types. The admin activities include publishing a monthly electronic newsletter with a web based subscription management program, archiving the newsletters on the website and also generating reports for revenue, new members and declining members.

Global Photography is a web-based photo shopping application, which facilitates the users to view and shop photos of different sizes and types uploaded by a photographer to whom the user is already registered. Photographer views the orders. The users can view the photos in different viewing styles like “CoolView” and “SmartView”. It also consists of slideshow in which user can view his photos with different effects. The site is developed for users to shop with Gateway payment. This site provides the user with a facility to put aside his favorite photos.
